Launching on Amazon In The EU In 2023 (Roundtable)   In this session we talk about all areas of launching in the EU, from compliance, VAT, Taxes, what products to launch from your brand catalogue and how to target correctly without wasting time on products that will simply not work. We will discuss translations, multi language keywords, launching and getting reviews.   With me on the panel is Mel (AVASK) whom heads up a multi national Tax empire, 7 figure seller Fe Soutter, translations whizz Jana Krekic whom manages around 100 translations in many, many languages.   Jana Krekic is the founder and CEO of YLT Translations, the largest Amazon-centric localization firm in the space today. An international public speaker, polyglot and a translator herself, Jana has considerable knowledge and experience in e-Commerce and Amazon, which she has - and continues to - leverage on to help 7- to 9-figure businesses expand on a global scale. She heads around 80 native speakers, who take content and localise it to convert and engage in a seller's target country. Each translator is well-versed in Amazon's dynamic and ever-changing landscape, and can perform the keyword research and write the copy needed to improve conversions and engagement. The result is a localisation firm that transposes and transcreates content to maximise conversion and engagement. Clients range from medium-sized enterprises ready to take the plunge to global expansion, to eCommerce monoliths seeking to spread their footprint. Melanie Shabangu-Katsari Melanie Shabangu is a highly experienced and qualified professional with over 20 years in the field of Global Expansion, Tax Advisory, and Accounting.  As a Partner at AVASK Accounting & Business Consultants and other successful multi-million-dollar businesses, she has built a thriving global enterprise that supports e-commerce sellers in realizing their full online business potential.  With her expertise in the e-commerce industry, she not only guarantees clients' tax compliance but also brings innovative growth solutions to drive their businesses forward. Fe Soutter After leaving a teaching career in 2008, Fiona Soutter saw the opportunity to establish an online business. The mother of three was drawn to the idea of being a ‘digital nomad’ - she wanted the flexibility of working anywhere, anytime. Fiona dedicated her efforts to learning about the world of digital marketing. She founded a consultancy business, spoke at events, and published books.  However, a car accident in 2014 derailed Fiona’s progress, and she had to fight through years of chronic pain and all that came with it to re-establish herself. In 2020, Fiona launched her e-commerce business. By combining her accumulated skills with a powerful purpose, she developed a brand that resonated with her audience, which resulted in her being able to create a multiple 7-figure business within 18 months. Fiona is now three years into her e-commerce journey and is now close to launching in the EU.
