Shaken and Disturbed - A podcast by John Thrasher and Daryn Carp

Happy New Year! John and Daryn are taking a much needed break this holiday season but giving you a flashback episode with a newly recorded intro. This episode originally aired July 31, 2022. Adolph Coors, the founder of the Coors Brewing Company, was found dead on June 5, 1929, after falling from a window in his office at the brewery in Golden, Colorado. Coors' death was initially ruled a suicide, but there were several strange circumstances surrounding the event that have led some to speculate that it may have been a murder. For one, Coors had no history of mental health issues or suicidal tendencies, and he was also in the midst of negotiations to sell the brewery, which some believe may have made him a target. Furthermore, there were no eyewitnesses to the fall and no note was found at the scene. These mysteries have fueled rumors and conspiracy theories about Coors' death, and to this day, the exact circumstances surrounding it remain unclear. Despite the tragedy of Coors' death, the Coors Brewing Company has continued to thrive and is now one of the largest and most well-known breweries in the United States.
