Simon Huck, JUDY Cofounder & PR Pro, On Making Sure You're Prepared For Emergencies & The Power Of Asking For What You Want

Share Of Voice - A podcast by Dear Media, Karin Eldor - Thursdays

Simon Huck is the real-life example of a Canadian with big dreams, who made his way to the Big City when he moved from Ottawa to New York City in the mid-2000s. Today, after more than 15 years in the PR industry (he is currently the president of Command Entertainment Group), Simon felt the entrepreneurial itch to create a new product, in the emergency preparedness space -- of all places. He cofounded JUDY in 2019 with Joshua Udashkin, and in a 2020 that has been filled with a pandemic and wildfires, the brand JUDY is dedicated to ensuring people have the education, and the actual tools to survive emergencies and be ready for anything.    On the topic of emergencies, Simon also recently launched the podcast, "Emergency Contact" with his cohost and IRL emergency contact, Melissa Gray Walsh, which features celebs and their emergency contacts.    You might also recognize Simon from episodes of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and from the celebrity pages of the magazines Simon used to read as a kid growing up in Ottawa.    I chatted with Simon about taking a leap of faith, using your voice and asking for what you want, why everyone needs "JUDY" in their life, and his fiance, "Pip the Rip."    JUDY Website: https://judy.co/ JUDY Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/readysetjudy/ Simon Huck Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/simonhuck/ "Emergency Contact" The Podcast: https://www.instagram.com/emergencycontact/ Produced by Dear Media
