She started her career as a graphic designer after obtaining her degree BA (Communications Design) degree from the University of Johannesburg. After working for multiple publications and obtaining her diploma in Digital Marketing, she joined Forbes Africa as a Layout artist and soon worked her way to becoming the Art Director.
