Episode 21 - We can. We will. with Heidi May, Founder of AESTHETIC LAUNDRY

She can. She did. - A podcast by She can. She did.

Yesterday morning, I had the pleasure of starting my day chatting to one of the most joyful women I know! The lady in question being Heidi May, the ray of sunshine behind the ethical business that is Aesthetic Laundry - the casual women's clothing brand that is best known for its rainbow tassled jumpers that are loved by the likes of Stacey Solomon and Nadiya Hussein along with a whole host of loyal customers that she has amassed since launching the brand in 2014.

Given that the whole nation is on lockdown with nowhere but the fridge to go at the moment however (!) and Heidi was due to launch the Aesthetic Laundry spring/summer collection of dresses any day now, I caught up with Heidi over Zoom (and coffees) to find out how the coronavirus has impacted her and her team so far...

With one of her full-time employees stuck in Australia because of the travel restrictions; suppliers closing shop whilst the demand for jogging bottoms and sweats to work from home in soared; and mounting pressure from some of those around her to drop everything and start producing face masks instead; here's how the past few weeks have played out for Heidi and why I wholeheartedly believe that she can and she will find a way to get through this thing...

The She can. She did. podcast is hosted by Fiona Grayson (that's me, hello!) and this bonus series is sponsored by Tide Business Current Accounts. Read the latest news, updates and help for small businesses during the Coronavirus outbreak on their dedicated hub: www.tide.co/blog/coronavirus
