I, myself, am a recovered pessimist; my default mindset used to be uplifting my negative thoughts/emotions to a point where I was addicted to them. I would put all my focus on what was “lacking” rather than what I had to be grateful for. I wouldn’t move through the negativity, instead I would sit in it & stay there.

If you relate & you’ve noticed yourself having a habit of seeing the worst in every situation & every person, often complaining about all things (both in & out of your control), vocalizing your frustration to others (to a point where it drives them away) and blaming others/the world for your problems, then this episode is the one for you!
