In this episode, we chat with Chris Bariou, owner of the luxury resort Maison Bukana in Siargao. Chris takes us on his personal journey and the reasoning and motivation behind his newfound vegan advocacy. In 2020, Chris was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer, thinking he had only a few weeks left to live. He opens up about that whole experience, how he felt, what he thought at the time and how it became one of the catalysts for transitioning into a completely plant-based lifestyle. As an outspoken vegan, Chris has a wealth of knowledge and we cover all aspects of why and how to live a more mindful lifestyle.
