Nagoro "Scarecrow" Village & The Parapsychology Foundation

Sinister Sisters - A podcast by Sinister Sisters

In this week's episode, Lauren continues to face her fear of dolls with the Nagoro "Scarecrow" Village. This very rural community can be found on Japan's smallest island of Shikoku, where dolls outnumber residents ten to one! To some people, these dolls are a charming tourist attraction…while to others, they are a disturbing reminder of the town's dwindling population.  Meanwhile, science meets the supernatural as Felicia covers the Parapsychology Foundation - a non-profit organization founded by famous medium Eileen J. Garrett and US representative Frances Payne Bolton (Ohio's first female representative in Congress). Garrett founded the organization in 1951 "with the explicit purpose of scientifically proving the existence of the soul." We dive deeper into the interesting life of Eileen and her life as a rather reluctant transmedium.  Do you have a podcast, short film, event or any creative project to promote?
