George Floyd: What will the Derek Chauvin trial mean for race relations in the US?
On the 25th May 2020 George Floyd was pinned to the ground by police officers, called because he had allegedly used a counterfeit $20 bill. His death sparked a summer of protest, anger and debate about racism in the US and beyond. Now, the trial of policeman Derek Chauvin has begun, with the harrowing video footage filmed by a bystander playing a major role in the case.
