Knowing God in Crisis - Ps Joshua Siaw

Knowing God is a new sermon series that invites us to experience God in the most defining moments of life. Through key biblical accounts — from the crossing of the Red Sea in Exodus 14, to stepping into unknown waters in Joshua 3, to facing overwhelming odds in 2 Chronicles 20, and standing firm when all seems hopeless in 2 Kings 19 — we will discover that it is often in crisis, uncertainty, weakness, and desperation that we come to know God most deeply. This series is not just about knowing facts about God, but about encountering Him personally: His power, His faithfulness, His presence, and His heart. Each message will reveal a different facet of God's character as we follow real people who trusted Him when they had no other hope. The tone of the series is both raw and faith-building, portraying a journey from fear to trust, from human limitation to divine revelation. The visual design should capture a sense of movement through difficulty toward light, hope, and victory — evoking both the struggle and the wonder of knowing God in the midst of life's battles.
