Tina works with teens in order to encourage them to continue pursuing the life they aspire for, in spite of falling short at times when it comes to experience or qualifications they may not have. Her Question: How do I stand out from these bigger companies that have more visibility, but don't go to the depths that I do with my service? Jess starts off by explaining the various obstacles that larger companies have standing in their way, that actually makes it harder for them to make a good impression. Things like preconceived notions of the company, the inability to make swift change occur, or even the impersonal feeling people get from larger corporations can actually give independents an advantage. Jess also talks about the quality that Tina can provide to students that other corporations can't. The fact that she's an independent and truly cares about every student that comes through her business means that she can actually get better results for her clients, give them much more attention, and customize things for them rather than have them try to fit some kind of cookie cutter system. Quality over cost is a great place to compete, and larger companies don't have the ability to do it. Finally Jess and Tina talk about ways to position the conversation so that she can properly highlight the benefits of choosing her over someone else.
