Working as an intervention specialist with a teaching certification, she has designed and implemented programs for children at risk of failing school. Collaborating with teachers, parents and administrators, Jill utilized her educational resources and evidence-based research to develop and recommend effective interventions.Prior to working in education, Jill worked with many national television stations as a liaison to local advertisers. Her first love was media which ironically led to a career in education after dedicating time to local charities during her program management position at WKBD-TV. She witnessed the urgent need of support for youth in education and felt compelled to commit herself to understanding child development and how it affects learning and behavior.
