Sober Stories: Abi

Sober Stories from Everyday People - A podcast by sassysobermum

In today’s episode, I chat to Abi in New Zealand who has been sober 138 days at the time of this recording. Abi has three daughters and runs a restaurant with her husband. Originally from the UK, Abi moved to NZ in 2005 and set up life in the North Island. As a typical drinker in her 20’s and 30’s, it slowly progressed into getting too much; managing a new business and having three kids under three, before deciding to quit. After a 30-day alcohol free challenge and then another 90-day challenge, Abi was off and on with her approach to alcohol before she stopped for good, just after 40 years old.Helpful links: Get help from me directly by visiting www.sassysobermum.com Visit THRIVE Sober Coaching for sobriety guidance & resources here www.thrivesobercoaching.com Get access to my new online sobriety self-paced course here https://checkout.teachable.com/secure/1930842/checkout/order_jmr0kg9w(use coupon code HALFPRICE) Join my super friendly and safe online women’s sober community here: https://thrive-af-community.circle.so/checkout/thrive-subscription Email sassysobermum at [email protected]
