Sober Stories from Everyday People - A podcast by sassysobermum

In this episode I chat to Alannah from Derry in Northern Ireland about turning 30 and getting sober. Alannah explains she didn’t realise how much of an impact alcohol was having in her life, until she quit just over five months ago. As a parent to young children and after an extensive new house build, drinking had become a frequent habit that was starting to create some inner frustration. She felt like she wasn’t fully enjoying life’s experiences when drinking, as the next day would bring tiredness, sluggishness and a general feeling of not living at her full potential. Now, she is happier and has a much more rewarding connection with her loved ones.
