Spinning Out (another music podcast) We talk to artists about their favorite albums and go on wild tangents. This week's guest is Caleb Cordes of Sinai Vessel. We talked about Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' Greatest Hits album from 1993. And when Caleb told me initially about this pick, I thought the same thing as you might be thinking, "THAT'S NOT AN ALBUM." But Caleb came at it with so much passion for it I felt like I needed to hear him out. Also, as a big Petty fan it didn't take much pleading. We also chat about growing up in the Pentecostal faith in the south and about how we won't join cults or MLM schemes because being involved in independent music has already been enough of a cult we can't pull ourselves from. Sinai Vessel self-released "Ground Aswim" last year. It's easily their best effort so please check that out.
