Documenting the Olympics and Paralympics 1 - Researching the Games

The first session from the 2021 online conference Documenting the Olympics and Paralympics, which took place on 6th and 7th July 2021 and was organised by the British Library in conjunction with the British Society of Sports History (BSSH), International Centre for Sports History and Culture (ICSHC) at De Montfort University, and the School of Advanced Study/CLEOPATRA project. In this panel the event is introduced by Ian Cooke of the British Library before we have three speakers talking about their experience of archival research in Paralympic and Olympic events. The panel discuss a broad mix of physical, digitised and born-digital resources relating to the Olympics and Paralympics, as well as how these collections have been used by researchers.
