Carnell 'Cadillac' Williams on coaching as ministry and leaving a legacy at Auburn

Sports Spectrum Podcast - A podcast by Sports Spectrum

Carnell 'Cadillac' Williams is Auburn's associate head coach and running backs coach. The former NFL running back was hired by Auburn in January of 2019 by then head coach Gus Malzahn and in 2022, after Auburn fired Bryan Hardin, Williams was named their interim head coach. In November, Williams was retained as an assistant by their new head coach, Hugh Freeze.  As a player, Williams excelled as a running back at Auburn and was selected fifth overall in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft by Tampa Bay. In his rookie season, Williams was named Associated Press NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Cadillac would play six seasons with Tampa and one with the Rams before retiring after seven seasons.  Today on the podcast, we talk to Cadillac Williams about his strong faith in Christ, coaching as ministry and seeing players on his team get baptized in 2022.  Receive our Sports Spectrum Devotional written by professional athletes for FREE when you sign up for our Sports Spectrum Weekly Email Newsletter.
