Former NFL running back Danny Woodhead discusses the Holy Spirit, generosity and gratitude

Sports Spectrum Podcast - A podcast by Sports Spectrum

Danny Woodhead is a former NFL running back who played 10 seasons with the Jets, Patriots, Chargers and Ravens. He went undrafted in 2008 after a college career at Division II Chadron State that saw him win the Harlon Hill trophy in back-to-back seasons (2006 and 2007). Woodhead was able to make his mark in the NFL with the Patriots, playing in Super Bowl XLVI and catching a touchdown pass from Tom Brady in New England’s loss to the New York Giants. In 2015, he enjoyed the best season of his career with the Chargers, finishing with 80 receptions, 1,091 combined rushing and receiving yards, and nine total touchdowns. He retired after the 2017 season. On this episode of the podcast, Jade and Jason talk to Woodhead about serving as a young adults leader in his church, the importance of the Holy Spirit to guide him and what it looks like to be generous and have gratitude.  Looking for faith/sports gift ideas?
