David Carr is a college wrestler at Iowa State. He is a four-time All-American (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023) and in 2021, was an NCAA champion (157 lbs). In 2022, he placed third overall (157 lbs) and in 2023, finished as the NCAA runner-up (165 lbs). The four-time Big 12 champion was one of the nation's top recruits out of high school after he was a 5-time state champion at Perry High.
