Episode 150 Miles McPherson was selected in the 10th round of the 1982 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. After being released, he was picked up by the San Diego Chargers, where he would play 4 seasons as a defensive back. During his time as a player, Miles became a follower of Jesus Christ, a decision that would eventually lead him to becoming a pastor. For the past 18 years, he has been the Sr. Pastor and founder of the "Rock Church" in San Diego, CA.  Miles is author of the new book "The Third Option: Hope For a Racially Divided Nation." On this episode of the podcast, Miles shares his journey from football player to pastor and coming to Christ during his playing career after being stuck in a world of drugs and addiction.
