All Blacks flanker Wallace Sititi's breakthrough season has failed to qualify him for World Rugby's team of the year. The World XV loose forward positions were occupied by South Africa's Pieter-Steph du Toit, Argentina's Pablo Matera and Ireland's Caelan Doris. Du Toit was anointed player of the year for a second time.
