109: The Lufthansa Heist

In December 1978, 6 men wearing black ski masks and driving a stolen van broke into the cargo terminal at JFK Airport in New York. They were there to steal a whole lot of money and carry out what is still the largest cash robbery ever committed on US soil. Today we're talking about the Lufthansa Heist, the New York Mob in the 1970s and 1980s, and everything in between.
