Long before the Mandalorian debuted on Disney Plus, George Lucas had been hard at work on his own Star Wars live-action TV show. The project had over 50 shows written with several movies-of-the week planned as well. The show would have delved deep into the folklore of the Star Wars universe and would have shown us how and why Emperor Palpatine turned to the Dark Side of the Force.  So What happened?
