Stop Overthinking - A podcast by Kristen Odegaard - Thursdays

Did you grow up hearing (or saying) "don't make mommy mad," or "you made me so sad?" Or some phrase where someone else made you feel a certain way. It's pretty common-- but it's not true and not helpful. Your feelings come from how you interepret words and actions and the same is true for others. You are responsible for how you are feeling-- and that's a good thing. Because you have the ability to shift to different feelings then too. This is a tough concept for people pleasers-- who believe they make others feel a certain way and will turn themselves inside out trying to make others feel a certain way. Listen in for where this comes from, how you can begin owning your feelings and why this is a key awareness for shifting away from people pleasing thinking.
