The Weekly Wrap Up - Comics, Video Games, and Mid-Week Musings on Marvel's Departure from Netflix, GTA Cheaters and East Bay Comic Con 2019

The Wednesday Wrap Up  *What this is?  * An honest attempt to tell you about the week that's passed and the week ahead The goal is to do this every Wednesday or maybe Thursday.   * My schedule is beginning to take on some interesting patterns and I think this format will fit in nicely.  So, who am I? Perhaps this is where I should offer a brief, if not proper introduction.   * Who am I? * I’m Seth Singleton. My name is on this podcast  I’m a writer, an editor, more importantly a storyteller.  I’m a writer who just finished the final, I hope chapter of my first novel. I have written a short story called This is a Language of Fists that is available on Amazon.  It’s also a an audio short story that will also be available on Amazon and will soon be a whisper synced to the original short story.  My second This is a Boxing Story is making the submission rounds, but it might become part of a collection  * I also write for different publications like DC Comics News and I will sometimes mention recent articles that I enjoyed writing or working on.  Editor for the video game Planet Rise from Blue Alchemy Studio I work with an amazing group of talented writers. We will be appearing at GDC 2019 in March and anyone interested can check out the game. My job as editor also means that some of the things I am looking at and listening to come from the world of video games.   * Looking Back Things I’m still looking back at East Bay Comic Con was February 10th  I'm still recovering from meeting John Wesley Shipp I have a write up from his Q&A which was very inspirational  What originally brought me there? I was with Jack Katz who was signing original art and copies of The First Kingdom   * Marvel’s Netflix  I’t’s just sad, but I don’t have the time to go deeper.  * GTA Cheaters  A court has ordered Florida resident Jhonny Perez to pay $150,000 in damages (and $66,869 in attorney fees) for creating and sharing Elusive, a paid cheating tool for GTA Online.
