Welcome to my first guest episode on the Sugar Plum Bakes wedding business podcast. Today I am hosting the immensely talented Russell Kent Nicholls. He is an independent cinematic wedding videographer who is based in the South East of England. He films weddings all across the UK and is also available for destination weddings. He was voted one of the UK’s Top 30 Wedding Videographers and I’m not surprised he has this award because he has an ability to capture all the joy, laughter and love of a wedding day and turn it into a high end video that is beautiful and romantic to watch. His videos are so emotive and I often find I’ll have a tear in my eye after watching one of his cinematic creations. His talent combined with his easy-going, fun-loving personality means that he’s highly sought after by engaged couples looking to hire a videographer for their wedding day. Not only is Russell a wizard at what he does, he’s also super generous with his knowledge and runs the well known Milkshake Kisses workshops, with Pierra Goff, which repeatedly sell out in a matter of minutes when the tickets are released. It’s an honour to have him on the show and in this episode Russell shares really useful advice about how wedding creatives can increase their visibility on Instagram and he helpfully explains all the different video aspects readily available on that social media platform.
