The Black Cat

There's an old saying you may have heard before...It's hard to find a black cat in a dark room; especially when there's no cat.  The dark room is a metaphor for ignorance, and the black cat is the object a person is trying to find in ignorance, that doesn't exist. How many black cats have you searched for in your life?  How many are you looking for right now?  If you take a little time to give this serious thought, you may realize that you too are looking for nonexistent black cats in a dark room. In this episode we'll consider those things we're wasting our time searching for that don't exist.  The cure for being in the dark room (ignorance) is to bring light (knowledge).  The more light you bring to bear, the easier it is to see that there is, in fact, no black cat; and therefore, no need to place your focus on things that don't exist. The most horrible thing about searching for a black cat that doesn't exist in a dark room is that the very act of searching for it can ruin relationships and your chances for success.
