It certainly has been a busy time for energy policy. Hot on the heels of the Energy Security Strategy has come the Queen’s Speech, which outlines the Energy Security Bill, Transport Bill and UK Infrastructure Bank Bill. These build on the government’s efforts to drive further investment into the energy industry to achieve the country’s net zero ambitions through the Net Zero Strategy and the Prime Minister’s Ten Point Plan for a Green Industrial Revolution.
