A California father allegedly murdered his wife and three children over the course of a week, then drove to a police station, with the body of his oldest son in the vehicle, and turned himself in. A US District court rejected a request for resentencing made by Idaho inmate, Torey Adamcik. Adamcik and his accomplice, Brian Draper, were both 16 in 2006, when they murdered their classmate, Cassie Jo Stoddard. The boys, who were fascinated by slasher movies and saw themselves as budding serial killers, planned the murder as a thrill-kill. Both Adamcik and Draper were sentenced to life without the possibility of parole as juveniles, a sentence since ruled unconstitutional. Finally, in Dunedin, NZ, 32-year-old doctor, Venod Skantha, was found guilty of the murder of 16-year-old Amber Rose Rush. Skantha, whose medical career was already in jeopardy after showing up to work intoxicated, murdered Rush so she could not expose his inappropriate relationships with local teens, destroying what was left of his reputation.
