When you meet Quan Huynh today, you see a business owner, a non-profit executive, a  published author, and an all around smart, thoughtful, and kind person. But it wasn't always this way. The son of Vietnamese immigrants, Quan's childhood was met with racism, the death of a parent, and a loss of faith. He felt lonely and out of place until he found acceptance and a place of belonging within a violet gang, which ultimately led to a high speed chase down the 405 freeway and a life sentence for the murder of a rival gang member. It took over 10 years, but after reading books on the Saints, personal growth, and entrepreneurship, he learned how to take accountability and embrace self love and self acceptance for the first time.
