#001: Brandon Block - Tales from the Rave

In this episode, I am joined by the legend which is  Brandon Block.With a DJ career spanning back to 1985 down his local boozer, playing funk and soul before the Acid House movement took off in 1988. Over the years, his skills have led him to holding residencies at Up Yer Ronson in Leeds, FUBAR at the Milk Bar in London (which he co-promoted with Lisa Loud), Club For Life and Malibu Stacey (both in the capital) and Scream in Plymouth. Nowadays, he plays regularly at the Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, Miss Moneypenny’s, Golden, Republica, Progress, Karanga, Colours, Clockwork Orange and Kelly’s. Brandon has played all over Europe, an international touring DJ, stopping off in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, the US and all points in between.
