There are so many more factors affecting parenting today than in previous generations. I recently read a book “13 Things Mentally Strong Parents Don't Do: Raising Self-Assured Children and Training Their Brains for a Life of Happiness, Meaning, and Success” by Amy Morin. Parenting is more about the parent than the child. These 13 “things” are great guidelines for raising a child. From being able to show your child how to take action for themself to making your child the center of the universe. We chat about how these 13 pieces of advice apply to the daily job of parenting.
