Fruit Growers Tasmania has welcomed the Federal Government move to allow Pacific Island workers into various states for the upcoming harvest, and CEO of Fruit Growers Peter Cornish says there are around 50 Pacific Island workers in the state now but they will need 1500 workers for harvest.
