Meet Perry Hollins, a fourth grade teacher at Oakton Elementary School in the Evanston/Skokie School District in Evanston, Illinois. Before becoming a teacher, Perry worked in radio and television. As an educator, he has spent the past 11 years infusing an African-centered pedagogy into the curriculum.
