Retrospective - a year in podcasting and education: The Sunday Twilight show with Maud

After almost a year of recording podcasts, it is important to reflect on what is brings to my teaching. Podcasting allows me to reflect on my practice and it enriches my skills. When a dear friend mentioned a desire to join the teaching profession I jumped on the occasion. Explaining the realities of teaching in the UK in a practical and realistic way, backed by stats and factual knowledge is the best way to prepare oneself when one wants to look at a career change.  I hope this podcast helps mostly prospective teachers but also those who are already teaching and need a reminder that this is a beautiful job despite its many challenges
