Malarvilie is joined by Elham Fardad, founder of Migrant Leaders. Elham is a complete inspiration, having come to the UK as an Iranian refugee, campaigned successfully to gain home status in order to gain a grant to go to university, a successful career in finance, and then in 2017 founding Migrant Leaders Charity. The aim of the professional development programme is to support young 1st and 2nd generation migrants as well as all disadvantaged youths and to help them succeed in Britain. The programme is free and applicants are between 16 and 25 years old and they gain mentoring, workshops, work experiences, and connections.
