Remember the movie Hidden Figures? It was an award-winning movie from 2016. It was even nominated for best picture at the Oscars. It is about three black women who broke through a very white, male culture at NASA and contributed mathematics that helped get Americans into space, and eventually to the moon. It's been a long time since the '60s and there is still a lot of work left to be done. Especially in the tech sector. As of 2020, black and Hispanic employees make up an average of only 6% of the staff at tech giants Apple, Facebook, Google, and Microsoft.  So we need some help to get past some more awkward conversations.
