Lesley Green

In this episode, Duygu Kasdogan speaks to Lesley Green. Dr Green is Professor of Anthropology in the School of African and Gender Studies, Anthropology and Linguistics at the University of Cape Town and deputy director of Environmental Humanities South. Dr Green’s research explores a wide variety of topics including environmental knowledges, the production of scientific authority, the challenges of decoloniality, climate disorder, and the Anthropocene. She is the author of Rock | Water | Life: Ecology and Humanities for a Decolonial South Africa and coauthor of Knowing the Day, Knowing the World: Engaging Amerindian Thought in Public Archaeology.
