6th Monday Great Compline

The Order of Great Compline for the Sixth and Final Monday of the Great Fast. Normally starting at the Second Week, we take at Great Compline the Canon of one of the saints of the day for the period of Holy and Bright Weeks. Due to time constraints I am unable to record these canons. The 6th Monday always corresponds to the saint of the day on Bright Friday. This year, April 25th, the Holy Apostle and Evangelist Mark which, just like the Feast of the Great Martyr George is not normally omitted but instead combined with the Bright Week services. Therefore at this compline either the supplicatory canon of the Theotokos from the Oktoikh for the day and tone of this week or another canon may be sung in its place.Please consider supporting me in creating this podcast.
