From her transition back to UCSB as a professor, her new role organizing and expanding UCSB's faunal collection, curating bones collected from PL Walker's lab, finding a love for anthropology, and shining a light on the badass empowering women in Anthropology. Dr. McClure's work encompasses examining faunal and human bones, examining diet and agriculture, and overarching environmental questions primarily working in the Mediterranean.
