This episode, the 10th and penultimate installment in the OMG series, features Dr. John Greenacre. John is a well-published military historian and author. He's also a Brit, which gives him a bit of a different perspective on some of the elements of this story we've been discussing, in particular the leadership of Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery. John spent over twenty years in the British Army before completing his PhD at Leeds University. He is a part-time lecturer at the University of Suffolk and the author of the 2020 book "Churchill's Spearhead: The Development of Britain's Airborne Forces in World War II."
