Welcome to conversations from the Adoption & Fostering podcast In this conversation I talk with Lucy. Lucy is a transracial adoptee, and contacted us following our Wednesday webcasts wanting to share her story. Lucy tells us more background into her own experience – being born in Hong Kong and adopted and subsequently raised by white british parents. Lucy also tells us about her experience of racism and identity, as well as being one member of a group of Transracial Foundlings from Hong Kong, and with the other foundlings, taking part in a group run by the British Association of Adoption and Fostering (BAAF) – now CoramBAAF. We hope you enjoy the conversation, and If you have a story you would like to share, then why not drop us a line on any of our social media channels, and while you are here, if you could leave a review on the Podcast app – we would really appreciate it.
