Rejection is not about you. When someone does not buy your product or your service, or when that woman says no when you ask her out, it has got nothing to do with you. Regardless of how terrible rejection can feel – that energy that causes shame and makes you want to hide – it is not a message about who you are, your ability as a man or your worth as a human being.
