Episode 177: Businesses and Brotherhood with Brent

Welcome back, brothers. Continuing in my series of interviews with academy and coach certification course students, today I talk to Brent Smith who is in both programs. Before coming to the academy, Brent was always chasing an idea of success, of material wealth, a better life, and wanting more for himself, without really knowing why. He had a good job, was dating pretty women, and had a successful life, but he still felt an emptiness and a lack of fulfillment. In this interview, Brent shares with us his reason for enrolling in the academy and how in his time as a student, he’s started to see a path and understand how to accept life as it is and spend much more time in a state of peace. He explains how he’s learned the ability to trust in the universe, trust in God, and accept that even though he may think that a certain outcome is going to make him happy, that regardless of what happens, everything plays out exactly as it should. Brent talks about his experience in the academy and what it is like being a part of it. He chats about the friends and support system he has found in it, how it has impacted his romantic relationship, and how it has benefitted him in different ways. We also talk about the universal truth and oneness: how you are the entire universe in a part and the universe loves us because we are the universe and we are love.
