Ep. 019 to Election Day - Christian Masculinity: Built for Battle

The American Campfire Revival with Kirk Cameron - A podcast by Kirk Cameron

In the Bible, Jesus is described as meek, but we have often misunderstood meekness for weakness. To be meek means having power, and keeping it under control as Jesus did. If you have a "sword," you should know how to use it, but you should also do everything in your power to keep that sword in its sheath. Jesus Christ is the archetype and the model for biblical masculinity, who embodied love and selflessness but was a man on a mission from heaven. He was a warrior whom the demons feared, and Christian men need to look to His example to live principled lives that conquer evil and are full of the fruits of the Spirit.
