After the first application for a FISA warrant before the 2016 election, the FBI applied three times for a renewal of the warrant that allowed them to wiretap and monitor Trump campaign worker Carter Page.  Throughout the process, the FBI made over seventeen errors, mistakes, and omissions.  What is so incredible about this entire process is the FBI's willingness to push for the renewals  even though the IG report found they were "inaccurate, incomplete and unsupported by appropriate documentation." Also the FBI withheld evidence that would have shown Carter Page was innocent.  These applications allowed the FBI to spy on Trump campaign staff and the Trump campaign.  Had the applications been filled out honestly and correctly, it is likely that the FBI would have never been granted the ability to carry out this surveillance.
