In the 2nd episode of the "Relationships" trilogy, we discuss the challenges that people with ASD face when considering, or being already in, a romantic relationship. We talk about the idea of a practice girlfriend, how to establish the rules of a relationship, why the small things genuinely do matter, and why romantic movies and TV can set dangerous precedents. We talk about what we want to teach our children, the effect of culture on relationships (particularly in relation to South Korean women) and why our first fight was about the ending of Watchmen.
