Africa At A Glance: Official launch of BMA

On Africa at a Glance wlook at the official launch of the Borders Management Authority which took place today, 5th October 2023 at Musina in Limpopo. President Cyril Ramaphosa said the Border Management Authority was established in response to several serious challenges, including the increase in the number of undocumented foreign nationals entering South Africa which worsens many of our country’s socio-economic problem. Ramaphosa says a more secure border is critical to curbing illegal migration and is important to curb smuggling and human trafficking.
