Today marks 14 days since six year Joshlin Smith has been reported missing. On Sunday, Western Cape police announced that they had widened the search for Joshlin by sending drone operators and search and rescue dogs to the area. Amidst the search for Joshlin, Missing Children South Africa said too much damage was done by social media reactions on the search for Joshlin in the past two weeks.
