After being in the industry for almost a decade I have come to the realization that there are “to many to count” when it comes to myths about detailing. A ton of my customers have apparently “owned auto detailing” businesses in the past and want to pass on their mis-information. I welcome new tips and tricks all the time, especially when it comes from someone who has gone before me, but lately i’ve been getting tips that I just simply know are not right. On the other hand, there is a lot of confusion with detailers just starting their business about what is the right way to do simple detailing, while remaining profitable.
